Who are we?

We’re a proud group of undergraduate and graduate students who are devoted to developing a community that inspires minds and fosters the academic and professional development of its members. Just like the national IEEE, we are devoted to the advancement of electrical and computer engineering for the benefit of mankind.

The student branch at the University of Houston has been around for more than 50 years, and in that time it has provided countless opportunities to students of the university. From networking events with companies to outreach opportunities that give back to our communities, our members have the ability to grow as professionals and human beings. Through collaboration and positions of leadership, we have helped many to be successful in their studies and forge long lasting bonds of camaraderie and friendship. Last but not least, we have several groups dedicated to participating in challenging competitions such as electronics design and robotics.

We strongly suggest any student interested in technology and a fulfilling college experience to consider joining this wonderful organization. Go Coogs!
