Affan Imran

Affan is a graduating senior in Electrical Engineering focusing on Power and Renewable Energy. In his spare time, he enjoys building computers and using them for gaming.

    Anastasiya Kopteva

    Anastasiya is a senior pursuing a major in Marketing. She has shown an interest in Interdisciplinary work, Neural Imaging and is hoping to get a doctorate degree in Neural Engineering. She also dances and choreographs for several Houston performance companies.

      Jesus Cruz-Garza

      As the Graduate Representative Chair, Jesus’ vision is to foster an environment of collaboration and involvement among the student body as a whole. Through his research, he aims to bridge engineering, science and art, for the deployment of arts as a form of therapy, education, and to explore basic human neuroscience questions. His contributions have produced tools and protocols to analyze human neural patterns in unconstrained artistic reflection/production, and social interactions. He is the inaugural recipient of the University of Houston – Houston Methodist Research Institute doctoral fellowship in translational research. In his free time, he enjoys dancing salsa.

        Katherine Perez

        Katherine is a senior, pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Embedded Systems. She is also a horror short film screenwriter.
