Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology

After a period of time the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology, or ABET, alters the criteria needed to have an accredited engineering program. When these changes occur the IAB and SAC work together to create a new and more efficient curriculum for the university’s current and incoming students.

Industrial Advisory Board

As stated above the Student Advisory Board and the Industrial Advisory Board work together to review and better the Electrical and Computer Engineering department’s curriculum. This is done by balancing student input and the ABET’s requirements into a newly revised, and elected, curriculum flow chart for the computer and electrical engineering degree plans.
